SkySaga Tutorial: Combat

We are here to help you find out more details about the SkySaga Tutorial: Combat! As we know, the fighting in SkySaga is something extremely significant for every adventurer, especially when tackling, even the pure constructors sometimes have to beat off a wolf or two at some point.

Damage

The bar at the bottom of the screen above the hot bar icons will symbolize 1000 hit points for each character in SkyStone. The bar will get dropped if you take damage, it will expose some damages you have taken. Eating food can help you refill this empty space with a lighter shade symbolizing the health for the time being. Every time you take damage in this range, double normal damage will happen. Try to rest at a camp fire to turn the short-term health into the lasting one.

Weapon Styles

Some discrepant assault types in SkySaga can be performed by using discrepant key combinations and fighting styles. Whilst the rules for enabling follow the same pattern, each weapon will carry out what happens when you perform it in a different way a little bit.

Basic Attack

Assaulting unceasingly will carry out a sequence of assaults varying by the weapon. The rival might be knocked out by these assaults in the period of the combo, they will only get a chance to recover once the combo sequence finishes. Hence, they can be considered as the bread-and-butter in battling against singular rivals.

Dash Attack

If you are sprinting forward while clicking the mouse the button in which your weapon is assigned to, you will perform the charging/thrust assault instead of a usual attack. This is the best way to close distance for beginning a battle, especially with archers. Performing a regular assault instantly is a powerful assault instead of a common assault.

Charged Attack

You can perform a postponed assault when you attack once, then click the attack button a second time and hold it down until you are done with the initial assault. The first attack of the normal combo assault will be represented by the first swing, but the second one will have the player raising the weapon and holding it until you fire the mouse button, then an attack will be performed after that. Due to the knock back/stunned mechanic, these are not more helpful in PVE but as for the PVP, they can be extremely helpful. The attack will do more damages up to a point when you hold down the mouse button for the longer period. Once performing that attack successfully, your character will grunt, and when the sound was done playing, the assault will be charged fully, and it will perform the maximum amount of damage.

Heavy Attack

An overhead power attack and close distances will be happened if you jump when attacking. Whilst the damage from these assaults is kind of important, they are extremely slow, and it will take much longer for recovering from them than charging or combo assaults. (Jump Attacks are bugged for the time being because you can do another jump attack promptly whilst it takes much longer considerable time to do anything else after a jump attack) Furthermore, you can perform the weapon’s heavy assault if you do a dash attack then following up with a second attack using the same weapon.
